Regional Sales Manager

For more than 20 years, our solutions have helped doctors acquire, retain, and enhance their endovascular therapy skills helping them improve patient outcomes. We have offices and presence in the US, Europe, Brazil, Singapore, India, China, and Japan while our global headquarters is in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Our sales team is powered by a group of dedicated professionals. As a member of the Mentice sales organization, you’ll harness our unique intellectual property, innovative technology, and solutions-based approach. We partner with medical device companies and healthcare systems to enhance training, enable device adoption, boost productivity - ultimately improving patient outcomes.
This is a fulltime position located at Mentice office in Tokyo, reporting to the VP and GM for APAC who is based in Singapore.
About the Role
You will be working with cutting edge solutions enhancing patient outcomes in growing fields such as cardiovascular disease management and stroke management. We are seeking a driven individual to further expand Mentice's market in the region.
Some of the key responsibilities include (but is not limited to):
· Sales responsibility for assigned region and accounts
· Build and execute account plans to drive revenue
· Actively prospecting and developing new opportunities
· Maintaining and growing existing customer relations and accounts in the region
· Conducting presentations and product demonstrations for clients
· Participating at regional events and workshops
· Coordinating regional marketing activities with assistance from Mentice HQ
· Coordinating support for clients with assistance from the local Japan team as well as Mentice HQ in Sweden
· Maintaining Mentice's CRM system (SalesForce) with up-to-date information

Requirements
· Japanese or Japan resident with valid work permit
· Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales within the Medical Device Industry, Healthcare industry or IT solutions
· Documented ability to meet and exceed sales targets
· Solid sales acumen and negotiation skills
· Excellent prioritization and time management skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
· Excellent Japanese capabilities, both written and spoken
· Good English capabilities, both written and spoken
· BSc or MSc degree
· Ability to travel, both domestically in Japan as well as overseas when required
Preferred
· Medical device industry experience
· Experience in medical simulation technologies
