At Mentice, we passionately develop endovascular simulation solutions to help improve patient outcomes. More than 20 years ago, we started with a simple mission, and now our solutions help doctors acquire, retain, and enhance their interventional therapy skills helping them improve patient outcomes worldwide. We have regional offices in the US, Europe, Brazil, India, China, and Japan while our headquarters office is in Gothenburg, Sweden.
About the role
As the Territory Sales Manager, Medical Device Industry (MDI) you will help device companies within your territory develop interventional simulation solutions for some of the most advanced therapy devices being introduced to the worldwide market. In this role, you will interact with client executives to position simulation as a strategic enabler to device training, adoption, and commercialization efforts. This is a unique opportunity to help drive commercial device success in Europe through simulation.
The fundamental knowledge of interventional therapies are not required, but rather an innate ability to understand technology, progress opportunities through the sales cycle, and effectively address client objections during the sales process. This is a sole contributor role working closely with Mentice colleagues including support, product management, finance and marketing to drive successful engagements. This is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Region EMEA.
Are you the one?
Ideally, you are an energetic, independent self-starter with a can-do mindset and a person who takes pride in getting things done. You have a bachelor’s degree or higher within a related field, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in solution sales. The ability to creatively sell solutions will be essential to your success. In addition, you can develop value propositions, uncover opportunities, and drive the customer decision making process. Additional experience from medical or hospital sales and working with medical professionals and C-level executives would be a plus. For this position, you will need to be fluent in English, skilled in your communication (both written and verbal) and possess experience in high-level negotiations.
