Mentice is the world leader in virtual reality-based interventional medical simulation solutions. Our solutions help healthcare professionals with skills acquisition, continuous development, and pre-procedural planning—leading to improved productivity and outcomes. Mentice solutions have been specifically developed for healthcare providers and the medical industry.
We have a great multi-cultural R&D team with a passion for software and hardware development and are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to strengthening our team. The position is a fulltime employment reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance located at the headquarters.
About the role
As QAE you play an important role within our product development and maintenance. The main responsibility of the role is to maintain a consistently high-quality level of both the customer specific and standard Mentice product portfolio.
To be successful in this role and to achieve the high-quality level, hands-on testing of Mentice simulators is essential and a crucial part of our process. The QAE will be implementing and continuously improving product testing protocols for manual testing as well as automated tests and support the software and hardware development teams in building new products.
The QAE will also work with other stakeholders within the company, verifying and identifying potential problems with already released products, and assisting in defining and verifying the requirements for future products.
Responsibilities;
- Plan, execute and document extensive testing of various Software/Hardware.
- Maintain highest possible quality level of the Mentice industry/generic product portfolio releases
- Keep synchronized with the Mentice internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop a solid clinical understanding of how our standard products are used, so they are tested in the right way.
- Create, implement and keep track of test records.
Who do we think you are?
We believe that you have a degree within Engineering, preferably biomedical or equivalent with a quality-aware mindset where you enjoy trouble shooting. As a person you are well organized and structured with strong communication and documentation skills, fluent in English both in writing and verbal. We also see that you pay attention to details. You are a team-player, with a genuine interest in medical technology and software development. Previous product testing is a merit.
