We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Strategic Alliances to our Americas Business.
At Mentice, we passionately develop endovascular simulation solutions to help improve patient lives. For more than 20 years, our solutions have helped doctors acquire, retain, and enhance their endovascular therapy skills helping them improve patient outcomes. Our solutions are scientifically validated and are being extensively used around the world by teaching entities, healthcare systems, and medical device manufacturers alike. We have regional offices in the US, Europe, Brazil, India, China, and Japan while our global headquarters is in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This is a fulltime position reporting to the General Manager of Americas located in our Americas headquarters in Chicago, IL. This role is preferably positioned at our Mentice Americas headquarters in Chicago, but not limited to. We also accept remote/home office. Even though your travel schedule will vary, you are expected to travel as needed.
About the role
The main responsibilities of the Business Development Manager, Strategic Alliances, is to establish and nurture executive relationships with Mentice’s partner channel, understand their challenges and market needs, train channel sales representatives on Mentice’s product portfolio and value, and drive channel growth. You will also be in charge of the commercial channel engagement, marketing activities, whilst proactively assessing and internally presenting the business initiatives.
In this role, you will be a part of and work together with Mentice experts on product strategy, marketing communications and product development. In a typical day, you will leave no stone unturned to accomplish your mission and you will not be afraid to roll-up your sleeves and get the job done. - Bachelor or higher degree.
- 5 years’ experience in one or several of the areas; sales, marketing, business development, strategy, product management, project management or clinical practice.
- Strong commercial background, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Solid experience in the Healthcare industry with various business model including capex and SaaS solutions.
- Exposure to the major global medical imaging industry is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in selling solutions, developing value propositions and a “nose” for opportunities.
- Skilled English communicator (both written and verbal).
- Negotiator at birth.
